LDO Regulator 1.5 A

The linear low dropout regulator is optimized for fast response times to changes in load current. The device is designed to work with load currents up to 1.6A and includes a protection circuit against polarity reversal of the power supply and reverse discharge current of the load capacity to prevent damage to the powered microcircuits and the regulator itself. Also inside there is a circuit for controlling the temperature of the microcircuit and a shutdown system in case of overheating of the device. Regulators have very low output noise which makes them ideal for sensitive RF supply applications. A wide range of output voltages from 0.8V to 40V allows the regulator to be used in conjunction with a wide range of chips.
